Our mission

European platforms
Cleaner critical materials

It starts with materials

A wind turbine, an electric vehicle or a new energy system begins with materials. Before these technologies can serve society, their metals have to be produced. How we make those metals matters as much as what we build with them.

Europe needs reliable access to critical materials and the capability to turn feedstocks into usable metals. That conversion step connects raw-material supply with industrial manufacturing. It is where OdKa focuses its work.

What OdKa brings

We develop molten-salt electrolysis platforms for critical-material production. Our work combines electrochemical engineering, reactor control and monitoring software, and electrode materials. Developing these together lets us design each process around the material it needs to produce.

The aim is practical: give producers European technology for cleaner, more sustainable metallurgy. A common electrolysis platform can support different material-specific processes, helping us build a portfolio that reaches beyond rare earths to a wider range of critical and industrial metals.

A European capability

Europe’s Critical Raw Materials Act sets a 2030 benchmark for EU processing capacity to cover at least 40% of annual consumption of strategic raw materials. That ambition needs processes, equipment and people who can put it into practice.

Our mission is to help build that capability in Europe. We want to turn electrochemical knowledge into platforms that producers can use, adapt and scale. Working with industry, public institutions, investors and university research groups, we aim to make cleaner critical-material production a lasting part of Europe’s industrial base.

Help build Europe’s materials future

Whether you are an industrial partner, a public agency, an investor or part of a university research group, let’s talk about how we can develop this capability together.
